Workout extension needed, not ready for the next step yet

Hi guys,

I guess the title of this post really sums up my issue. Been doing Pierres Intermediate ab workout for a while now, and for the last 2/3 weeks ive been doing it twice a day, 5 days a week. Its a great workout and when i first started it i was really feeling the burn.

I dont find it "easy" now, but after i do it, im not feeling as much of a workout as i was to start with. Im putting in 100% as i always do, im really crunching on all the moves, (although exercise 3 in the tri-set section is still a bit tricky, never feel like im getting far enough off the deck, maybe my technique?)

i did try his advanced ab workout but couldnt make it all the way through yet. So i guess what i need is tips on adding more to the intermediate one so that in a short while i will be ready for the advanced. Ill just have to keep working on "touching the sky" for that last exercise.

Again thanks in advance for any tips.

Matt x

Hi Matt, the great news is that what has happened is that your muscles have improved, got stronger and the workout now doesn't feel so challenging. As you have said that you find the advanced workout too much for the moment try some of the other teachers' ab workouts that are on the site as the intensity does vary and so do the exercises. The more variety of ways you can hit your abs the better. Anna
